About the Software

1. Who Should Use the Software

a. This is an educational software developed to assist the teaching and study of pre-university, college and introductory university physics. This software is a set of simulations of physics problem. Simulation allows better visualization and therefore understanding of physical phenomena. Problem solving bring learners face to face to the essence and detail of the concepts and applications of the principles of physics. These two methods are very effective in learning physics. Here we combined them together in this software.

2. Naming of Problems

a. One Dimension: Indicates the problem involves only one dimension motion.
b. This is the second concept or understanding of the topic of One Dimension Velocity.
c. This is the first problem to illustrate the concept or understanding.

3. Installation

a. Basically, you just need to put the player Kinematics.swf and the problem files in a same folder.

b. To do this, first unzip the problem files you have purchased (or samples) with WinZip or WinRAR. If you don't already have WinZip or WinRAR, get a free copy online. A link is provided at the main page.

c. Download the free player Kinematics.swf from the main page and put it in the "kinematics" folder you have unzipped. The problem files should be in the "kinematics" folder already.

d. You also need FLASH player version 8 and higher to run kinematics.swf. If you don't already have, download it and install it on you computer. A link is provided at the main page.

4. To Start

a. Double click on the player Kinematics.swf. Click on the load button to bring up the browser window and browse to the "kinematics" folder that contains the files of problem that you have purchased. Click on any of the problems and you are ready for your teaching or learning.

5. Development

a. More problems will be developed.

6. Use Terms

a. The products (all the FLASH swf problem files) purchased from ipraxis.biz are licensed to the purchasers (individuals not organizations/institutions) and can only be used by the purchasers. Organizations/institutions that intend to purchase the products please contact us.
